The comfortquilt I made for Benji, using the last of the blue strips that I got from the Pickles and a couple of others. The pattern is Pandora's Box from the Lintotts Jelly Roll Quilts book and the backing is long haired fleece for tactile comfort and warmth

Really Nice Quilt Wolfie. Dontcha just love it when the receiver enjoys what you made?
I made a comfort quilt for my friend when she had chemo and a mastectomy. She said it made her feel better. That made me cry.

Beautiful quilt! It's a nice simple pattern and I think any fellow would appreciate it. I bet his parents think the world of you.

You definitely are a great person to have for a friend. Maybe some of the strips I sent are in his quilt giving him comfort. He'll always remember you as a good person and friend.

En väldigt fin quilt i härliga färger. Den kommer säkert att skänka värme och omtanke, men det känns så tragiskt när våra barn och unga drabbas och skall behöva gå igenom en sådan tuff behandling.

A heartfelt THANK YOU for all these lovely and caring comments!

It's so horrible when something like this happen to such a young kid and if so inclined, one can only pray. The rest of us sew ;-) and put love and caring into each bit of fabric and every single stich.

Warm hugs - yup, it is hot here in Stockholm:-D

Vilken underbar pläd killen får att gosa i både nu och sen under den jobbiga behandlingen.
